Q1. How do I buy a premade book cover?▼
Simply message me using the form or send me an email on helloprettyindie@gmail.com with the title of the book cover on my website and whether it is going to be ebook or paperback. Once I have received your email, I'll confirm the order and send you an invoice. After the invoice is paid in full, I'll send you a google form where you'll need to insert all the required information. After receiving your instructions, I'll start making the required changes. If the author asks for no other changes, the cover will be ready within 2-3 business days. I'll send you all the materials mentioned in your google form. Note: Once a cover is sold, it does not go into my portfolio until the cover has been revealed.
Q2. How do I order a custom book cover?▼

Q3. If I want to make a change in the premade cover, is it possible?▼
Yes, however, it depends on how many changes are required. I change fonts (3 trials), title placement, title color or texture for free for premade covers. If you have something else in mind or any queries, get in touch with me to negotiate.
Q4. How is payment done?▼
Right now, payment is done via paypal only. For premade, the client pays upfront and then I finalize it for them. For custom made covers, the client pays a $25 non-refundable deposit to book a spot on my calendar. Then, 50% of the rest of paid before I start designing and the rest is paid when the client is ready to claim the book cover. Kindly note that, the work doesn't start until the required amount has been paid. Payment should be effected within 30 days once invoice has been sent.
Q5. What about the license of the images used?▼
All stock images used by Pretty Indie are bought on www.shutterstock.com or www.depositphotos.com. The stock photos used for each cover are purchased by Pretty indie and the amount is already included in book cover price, under standard license. This license grants you up to 500K copies used ( meaning up to 500,000 books ebook+print sold). After that number is achieved, as per the stock images sites, you should purchase enhanced license which is around 100$ per image and this will grant you unlimited usage. NOTE: The license terms are not given by Pretty Indie and the extended license fee should not be paid to Pretty Indie BUT TO THE STOCK IMAGE SITES, because the client will be buying the license from them.

Q6. Do you accept returns, exchanges or cancellations?▼
No, I do not. Communication is key. The best way to get what you want is to communicate it to me. Since what I sell is digital, I do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations once the goods have been sold. Kindly contact me if you have a problem with your order.
Q7. Do you offer author logo services?▼
No, I do not. But it's definitely something I'm interested in doing further down the line. So, follow me on my social media pages where I post about updates.
