Q1. How do I buy a premade book cover?▼
Buying a premade cover is easy! Just drop me a message via the contact form or email me at helloprettyindie@gmail.com with the title of the cover you like and whether it's for an ebook or paperback. I’ll confirm your order and send an invoice. Once it’s paid, I’ll send you a Google form to fill out with all the details I need to personalize your cover.
If no major changes are requested, your cover will be ready in 2-3 business days! I’ll send you all the files as requested.
Note: Once a cover is sold, it won’t appear in my portfolio until after the book’s reveal.
Q2. How do I order a custom book cover?▼

Q3. If I want to make a change in the premade cover, is it possible?▼
Yes, however, it depends on how many changes are required. I change fonts (3 trials), title placement, title color or texture for free for premade covers. If you have something else in mind or any queries, get in touch with me to negotiate.
Q4. How is payment done?▼
Payment is super simple—I currently accept PayPal only (because who doesn’t love PayPal, right?).
For premade covers, payment is made upfront, and once I’ve received it, I’ll get to work customizing it for you.
For custom covers, here’s the breakdown: to book your spot on my calendar, there’s a non-refundable $50 deposit. Then, once we’re ready to roll, 50% of the remaining balance is due before I start designing. The final payment is due when you’re ready to claim your stunning new cover.
Important note: I can’t begin work until the required payment has been made. Payment must be completed within 30 days after the invoice is sent.

Q5. What about the license of the images used?▼
Ah, the all-important license! No need to worry—Pretty Indie makes sure all stock images are legally sorted before we even start designing. I get all my images from trusted sites like Shutterstock and Depositphotos. The cost of these images is included in your book cover price, and each image comes with a standard license, which lets you use it for up to 500,000 copies (ebooks + print).
Once you hit that magical 500K mark (hey, that’s a bestseller, right?), you’ll need to grab an enhanced license from the stock site for about $100 per image. This gives you unlimited usage—because who wants limits when your book is flying off the shelves?
Important note: The extended license fee goes directly to the stock image site, not Pretty Indie. Also, don’t worry—everything here is made by humans (no AI art or robots, I promise!). We like to keep it real!

Q6. Do you accept returns, exchanges or cancellations?▼
Great question! Since I create digital products, I don’t accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the design is finalized. Think of it like a custom-made dessert—you get exactly what you ordered, but once it’s ready, it’s all yours!
That said, communication is key! The best way to get exactly what you want is to share your vision with me upfront. If something’s not quite right after delivery, I’m happy to work with you to make adjustments.

At Pretty Indie, we believe in real, human-made designs—no AI or robots involved! Every book cover is created using Adobe Photoshop and Procreate, ensuring a personal touch and attention to detail. We source stock images from trusted platforms like Shutterstock and Depositphotos, but rest assured, none of them are AI-generated.
Your cover is crafted with care, skill, and creativity—no shortcuts, no algorithms, just authentic design. Because when it comes to your book, it deserves more than just machine-made art.
All our covers are 100% human-made, 0% AI.
Q9. What if I need to tweak my cover after it’s finalized and paid for? How does that work? ▼
I totally get it – sometimes ideas evolve, and that's part of the creative process! Once the final files are delivered, I do reserve the right to charge for any additional revisions beyond the agreed-upon three rounds. Revisions outside of that will be charged at $15 per round/trial requested by the client.
Since making these changes means I’m stepping out of my schedule and putting in extra time and effort, I do this as an added service to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. But don't worry – I'm always happy to help you get your cover just right! 😊
